Who We Are
Excel Plastics PLC is a leading plastic manufacturing company that was first established in 1993 G.C. by the two stakeholders. Mr. Tenna Kebede and Mr. Wondwesen Ketema, as per the Commercial Code of Ethiopia.
Over the years, the company has been delivering top-quality solutions in plastic household products, industrial containers, and construction plastic materials. To increase the company's overall organizational capacity, the company sold 75 percent of its shares, formerly held by Mr. Tenna Kebede and his family, to the new shareholders, Mr. Yonas Wolday and Mrs. Christian Haymanot , since 2021 G.C. currently the new shareholders have been increasing their shares, and they reached 89% of the total shares in the company.
The company started with manufacturing of different types of high-quality oriented household plastic products and industrial containers and eventually expanded its range of production in large scale to various plastic construction materials including:-
- HDPE pipes.
- UPVC pipes;
- UPVC casing pipe.
- PPR pipes;
- flexible conduit.
- rigid conduit; due to the needs of other sectors such as construction, chemical and agricultural industries. Moreover, the company has 30 years of experience in the plastic industry to manufacture and supply Construction plastic materials, Household plastic products,and Industrial containers to customers while maintaining its quality as per the international standard. And also, our plastic products are certified in accordance with the Ethiopian Standards Institute and ISO, 9001:2015, which is issued by DQS Holding. Excel Plastics PLC is the first manufacturing company in Ethiopia to produce diversified plastic products of high quality.
