Polyethylene pipe is used for water supply, irrigation system, plumbing connections, gas distribution and drainage. We supply PE fittings to suit all Excel Plastics polyethylene pipes.
PE plastic water pipes for seer lines are used in main lines and distributing lines in sewer line systems where more chemical resistance is needed than PVC pipes can fulfill.
Excel Plastics produces PE sewer pipes with same dimension and wall thickness as PE plastic water pipes or in accordance with the customer?s needs.

Physical characteristics of PE pipes
When determined in accordance with the methods specified in the table 1, using the parameters indicated, the physical characteristics of pies shall conform to the requirements given in Table 1.

Chemical Resistance
Few materials offer better over-all resistance to corrosive acids, bases and salts. In addition, polyethylene is unaffected by bacteria, fungi or even aggressive naturally occurring soils. It has good resistance to many organic substances, such as solvents and polyethylene piping does not rust, rot, corrode, or tuberculation like traditional metal or concrete piping. It is not subject to galvanic or hydrogen sulfide corrosion.
